- Can I shoot still images while displaying monitor screen contents on a TV?

Yes. While the BEST SHOT "HDMI TV Output" scene is selected, you can shoot still images with an aspect ratio of 16:9 while viewing monitor screen contents on the screen of a TV connected to the camera with a commercially available HDMI cable.
Use a HDMI cable that with a plug that is compatible with the camera's HDMI micro connector on one end, and a plug that is compatible with your TV's HDMI connector on the other end.
NOTE
• Note the following restrictions that apply while shooting under the conditions described above.
- The "HDMI TV Output" BEST SHOT scene must be selected.
- Shooting cannot be performed while charging.
- Auto Power Off is disabled.
- Movie shooting is not supported.
- The camera's monitor screen is blank.
• Make sure that the camera is turned off before plugging in or unplugging the cable.
• The “HDMI Output” setting cannot be changed as long as there is an HDMI cable connection between the camera and a TV.
Disconnect the HDMI cable from the camera to change the “HDMI Output” setting.

• Pressing the wireless button will not enter the wireless mode while this function is being used.
If you want to use a wireless mode, either select a scene other than "HDMI TV Output", change to a different recording mode, or disconnect the HDMI cable from the camera.
