Q22
Why do some images recorded with flash come out looking a little dark?
A22
A subject that is reflective can cause darkening of the subject. If this happens, try increasing flash intensity.

Light from the flash may not be able to reach the subject when the camera is too far from it, which will cause a dark image.
Take care that there is no too much distance between the camera and subject when shooting with flash.

NOTE
 • A subject that is too far from the camera may be out of the flash range. If this happens, increasing ISO sensitivity will increase the flash range. However, note that this causes digital noise in the image.
Example: at ISO3200, the flash range is 1.5m to 2.8m in the full Tele position.
