Q16
What can I do with Premium Auto PRO?
A16
Simply half-press the shutter button and the camera instantly starts making decisions about shooting conditions, focus, the subject, lighting and a host of other parameters. Premium Auto PRO then automatically configures settings as required and performs appropriate corrections and compensations.
It also automatically decides whether or not  Continuous Shutter (CS) shooting is required.

Note the following important points when using Premium Auto PRO.
• Premium Auto PRO requires more power and runs down the battery somewhat quicker than Program Auto.
• The lens will move as focusing is performed while shooting, which can result in vibration and noise.
• When Shooting with Premium Auto PRO, the message “Processing Premium Auto.” may appear on the monitor screen.
In this case, the interval between shots will be relatively longer than Program Auto.
• In some cases, Premium Auto PRO may not be able to interpret the shooting environment correctly.
If this happens, shoot with Program Auto or Best Shot mode.
• If Premium Auto PRO does not locate focus frames on the subjects you are trying to shoot, switch to Program Auto, and then change the "AF Area" setting to "AF" or "Tracking".
• If "HS" is displayed, the camera will shoot a series of images with Continuous Shutter (CS).
To minimize the chance of image blur, be sure to avoid camera and subject movement until all of the images are shot.
