When things don't go right...

Q1: The lens barrier opens rather easily when I touch it with my finger. Is there something wrong with it?
A1: No. The lens barrier is designed to protect the lens surface from dust and from being scratched when the telescoping lens is retracted into the camera. The spring that holds the lens barrier shut is relatively weak by design, so there is nothing abnormal about being able to open the barrier with your finger.
