- Why doesn't the focus frame appear on the monitor screen?

- The camera may be configured to hide the focus frame by the recording mode selected with the mode dial or by MENU settings.
Example: Modes that hide the focus frame when the mode dial position is changed while the camera is configured with its initial factory default settings.
• Some BEST SHOT scenes
• Some special-purpose recording features (Blurred Background, etc.)
The focus frame will appear when required under the camera's current settings.
With certain settings, the focus frame may appear when the shutter button is half pressed.
