When things don't go right...

Q21
The subject is out of focus in the recorded image.
A21
1)When you compose the image and half-press the shutter button, does the focus frame change color to
   green?
If the focus frame is red, it means that you are too close to the subject, the subject contrast is too low,
or that auto focus cannot be performed for some reason. If this happens, move away from the subject
or change the zoom factor, or try focusing manually.

   Procedure
   REC mode*  [SET]   Focus  MF
   * If the Make-up Mode or Face Detection setting is On, change it to Off.

2)Is the lens dirty?
If the lens is dirty, clean it using a blower to blow off dust or foreign matter, and then wipe with a soft,
   dry cloth.

3)Is there camera movement while you are shooting?
Turn on the camera's anti-shake setting or mount the camera on a tripod.

   Procedure
REC mode  [MENU]  REC MENU Tab Anti Shake "Standard" or "Strong"  [SET]

   NOTE
   •  When "Program Auto", "Premium Auto PRO" or "High Speed Anti Shake" is selected as the
recording mode, "Standard" or "Strong" can be selected for the "Anti Shake" setting.
The "Strong" setting minimizes the effects of camera and subject movement, but it also results in more
      digital noise in the image.
