When things don't go right...

Q23
Why does the subject in an image shot with continuous shutter (CS) appear to be bent?
A23
Depending on the recording mode, the CMOS characteristics of the camera's imaging element are such that a subject can appear bent in images shot while the subject is moving.

The camera has two shutter modes, and the mechanical shutter mode helps to minimize this phenomenon.

If your subjects appear to be noticeably bent, the following may help to improve the image.
• Use the Auto mode to record.
• When shooting with High Speed CS, use a CS Speed of 10fps or less. Also, do not use Prerecord CS.
