Can I select (for printing, saving, deletion, etc.) a single image in a CS group?

Yes. You can use the camera's Copy feature to extract the desired image from the group and then print it. You also could protect the image you want to keep, delete all of the other images in the group, and then use the remaining image for the operation you are performing.
The images in a CS group start to play back automatically about one second after you select the CS group on the camera. Thought you cannot scroll the images during playback, you can press the [SET] button and then perform operations like play, pause, and scroll. Pressing the <down> key while playback is paused will display the CS frame editing screen. The CS frame editing screen provides you with protect, copy, and delete functions that you can use to select and delete the images you want.
