Snap shot

Q1
If I shoot a snapshot or movie in portrait orientation, will it be displayed on the monitor screen automatically in portrait orientation?
A1
Yes.  Pressing "MENU" SETTING Tab Auto Rotate will cause camera orientation information to be stored with images when you shoot them. Images you shoot while "Off" is selected for the Auto Rotate setting will be displayed in normal landscape orientation.

Auto Rotate Precautions
• Rotating a CS group causes all of the images in the group to be rotated.
• Auto Rotate does not actually rotate the image data. It simply changes the image display orientation.
• Images are displayed in normal landscape orientation on the image menu screen.
• Images are not rotated while Auto Rotate is turned off, even if they were recorded while Auto Rotate was
   turned on.
