Q12: Can images I shoot be stored as RAW or TIFF format data?
A12: This camera can store images as RAW (DNG*1) image data. Note, however, RAW image data can be saved in the case of recording a single shot mode only.
To save RAW image data, select the BEST SHOT "Raw Image" scene. In this case, the image size is fixed at 16M.
An image cannot be saved in TIFF format.
*1 DNG stands for "Digital Negative," which is one type of RAW image data file format created by Adobe Systems Incorporated.

NOTE
• Use of Super Resolution Zoom and digital zoom is not supported when shooting RAW image data.
   Use of optical zoom only is supported when shooting RAW image data. The focal distance is 34 to 450mm
   converted to 35mm format. A zoom factor of 1.0X or 1.1X used in another recording mode is automatically
   changed to 1.3X (34mm converted to 35mm format) when the "RAW IMAGE" BEST SHOT scene is selected.
