Q12
What is the difference between the "Anti Shake" menu item and the "High Speed Anti Shake" BEST SHOT scene?
A12
The "Anti Shake" menu item performs optical anti shake correction for camera movement by shifting the CMOS sensor.
The BEST SHOT "High Speed Anti Shake" scene, on the other hand, records multiple images when you press the shutter button, and then combines them automatically in a way that corrects for image blur due to camera movement.
This means you can shoot with minimal image blur due to camera movement, even when shooting conditions are too dark to use CMOS Shift Stabilization or when the zoom factor you are using is too high to use CMOS Shift Stabilization.

NOTE
 • When "Program Auto" or "High Speed Anti Shake" is selected as the recording mode, "Standard" or
"Strong" can be selected for the "Anti Shake" setting.
The "Strong" setting minimizes the effects of camera and subject movement, but it also results in more
   digital noise in the image.
When shooting with any other mode, the "Standard" setting is used automatically.
 • When shooting with The BEST SHOT "High Speed Anti Shake" scene, the “ISO Sensitivity” and
“ISO High Limit” are fixed at “Auto”.
