You can register up to 12 setups, based on snapshots shot with the camera, as Custom Shot scenes.
Selecting a registered Custom Shot scene configures the camera with its settings.
To create a Custom Shot scene
IMPORTANT!
• The setups of certain types of images cannot be registered as Custom Shot setups. If you attempt to
perform the procedure below when there is no image in camera memory whose setup can be saved
as a Custom Shot setup, the message "There is no image to register." will appear.

Align the mode dial with "C". |

Press [SET].
• If your camera currently does not have any Custom Shot setups stored in memory, a message will
appear telling you so. If this happens, press [SET] to clear the message and then advance to step 5
of this procedure.
• If your camera currently has one or more Custom Shot setups stored in memory, proceed with step 3,
below. |

Use the <up> and <down> keys or rotate the control dial to select "C" and then press [SET]. |
| 4. |
Use the <up>, <down>, <left>, and <right> keys to select "Custom Shot" and then press [SET]. |
| 5. |
Use the <left> and <right> keys to select the snapshot whose setup up you want to use for the Custom Shot. |
| 6. |
Use the <up> and <down> keys to select "Save", and then press [SET]. |
To shoot a snapshot with a Custom Shot scene
| 1. |
In the REC mode, align the mode dial with "C". |
| 2. |
Press [SET]. |
| 3. |
Use <up> and <down> to select "C", and then press [SET] |
| 4. |
Use the <up>, <down>, <left>, and <right> keys to select the Custom Shot scene you want to use and then press [SET] |

Press the shutter button to shoot the image. |
To delete a Custom Shot scene
| 1. |
In the REC mode, align the mode dial with "C" |
| 2. |
Press [SET]. |
| 3. |
Use <up> and <down> to select "C", and then press [SET]. |
| 4. |
Select the scene you want to delete.
You can scroll through screens by sliding the zoom lever. |

Press the <down> key, select "Clear", and then press [SET]. |
NOTE
• Custom Shot setup registration is not supported for images shot with the functions below.
Custom Shot setup registration is also not supported for movies.
HDR, Premium Auto PRO, Premium Zoom, Snapshot In Movie
• The following settings are not saved as part of a Custom Shot setup.
Handsfree, Motion Position, Image Size, Image Quality, ISO High Limit, Digital Zoom,
Self-timer, Aperture
• Formatting the camera's built-in memory deletes all Custom Shot scene files.
• The setup of a snapshot recorded with the BS High Speed CS image setup can be registered
as a Custom Shot setup, but the setup can be recalled for shooting snapshots only.
It cannot be recalled for shooting with High Speed CS.
• The setup of a snapshot recorded with the BS AF-CS scene can be recalled for shooting with AF-CS.
