Check for the following.
1. Is the mode dial at the correct position?
Shooting a movie(FHD, STD) is possible only in the Auto, Premium Auto PRO, A, S, or M mode, or when certain BEST SHOT (BS) scenes are selected.
2. Is something other than "FHD" or "STD" selected for the movie mode?
Press [DISP] and then select "Information display + Histogram on" for the monitor screen information setting. The currently selected movie mode will be indicated inside the gray boundary that appears in the upper right of the screen.
If the indicated movie mode is not "FHD" or "STD", perform the following procedure to change it.
1. Set the mode dial to "Auto".
2. In the REC mode, press [MENU].
3. Use the <left> and <right> keys to select the "Quality" tab.
4. Use the <up> and <down> keys to select "Quality(Movie)" and then press the <right> key.
5. Use the <up> and <down> keys to select "FHD" or "STD"(Standard), and then press [SET].
