Check the following points.
1. Is the mode dial at the correct position?
Shooting a single snapshot is possible only in the Auto, Premium Auto PRO, A, S, or M mode, or when
certain BEST SHOT (BS) scenes are selected.
2. Is a CS mode selected?
If a CS mode is selected, press the [HS] button to de-select it.
* If a CS mode is selected, you will see an [HS] indicator left of center at top of the monitor screen.
Note that the [HS] indicator will not be displayed if you used the [DISP] key to hide on-screen information.
