- The battery does not charge or back lamp of the camera flashes red.

- Check the following.
• Error indication (camera back lamp flashing red) that may be due to the temperature of the battery or the area where you are trying to charge is outside the allowable range (5°C to 35°C).
In this case, disconnect the USB cable and put the camera in a location where the temperature of the battery and/or camera can return within the allowable range. After a while, try again.• Error indication (camera back lamp flashing red) that may be due to dirty battery contacts.
If they are, wipe them with a soft cloth and try again.
* If charging fails or if the error indication (camera back lamp flashing) continues after you take the steps described above, it could mean that the battery is defective. Contact your local Authorized Service Centers of CASIO or CASIO Service Centers.
