- Why doesn't the self-portrait self-timer icon appear on the monitor screen?

- The self-portrait self-timer icon is displayed on the monitor screen when Auto, Premium Auto Pro, or Make-up is selected as the recording mode, and the monitor screen and lens are facing the in same direction. It is not displayed when any other recording mode is selected and/or when any other BEST SHOT scene is selected.
