- Yes, you can use the protect function to keep files from being deleted.
To protect files

You can protect individual files or all files in memory. You can protect only files that already have been recorded. Even if you protect all files currently in memory, subsequent images you record are not protected automatically.
IMPORTANT!
Formatting memory deletes all files, regardless of the current protection settings.
