If I shoot a movie in portrait orientation or upside down, will it be rotated on the monitor screen automatically?

Yes. But only while "AUTO" is selected as the display orientation setting. For other settings movies will not be rotated automatically.


NOTE

•Rotate does not actually rotate the image data.
It simply changes the image display orientation.
•To view a movie shot in portrait orientation or upside down on a computer screen, you will need to play it back with a player that supports portrait orientation playback (QuickTime 7).
