- The charger LED fails to light or goes out when I try to charge the battery.

- Attaching the battery onto the charger should cause the charger LED to light, indicating that charging has started. The LED will go out after charging is complete.
Failure of the LED to light or the LED going out right after you attach the battery onto the charger can be due to one of the following reasons.
1. LED does not light. • The charger power cord is not plugged in correctly to the charger or to the power outlet. • The battery is not mounted correctly onto the charger. 2. LED goes out right after the battery is attached to the charger.
Charging time (the time the LED remains lit) depends on the battery charge level, charging conditions, and other factors. Inability to charge a battery could mean that the battery or the charger is defective.
