Q12: Why can't I shoot right away after turning power on, even if a viewfinder image is displayed on the monitor screen?
A12: If you are using a large-capacity memory card, the initial internal processes can cause the camera to take some time before it is ready to shoot, even though a viewfinder image appears on the monitor screen. A 32GB SDHC card in particular can cause the camera to take quite a bit of time before it is ready to shoot.
