- How can I return the camera to the initial factory default settings that were in effect when I purchased it?

- Performing the reset operation will return most of the camera's settings to their initial factory defaults. Note, however, that some settings (for example, date, language, video output, and other settings) are not affected by the reset operation.
Perform the following to reset the camera:
[SET]
"MENU" [SET] Setup tab Reset.
Note that the "Reset" command is the bottom item on the Setup tab.
