Q15
Is there a way to keep a file from being deleted?
A15
Yes, there are two ways to keep a file from being deleted, you can protect a file or you can disable file deletion.

1. To protect files
PLAY [SET]  "MENU"  [SET] PLAY Tab Protect
You can protect individual files or all files in memory. You can protect only files that already have been recorded. Even if you protect all files currently in memory, subsequent images you record are not protected automatically.

2. To disable file deletion
[SET] "MENU"  [SET] Setup Tab   Trash Disabled On
Turning on "Trash Disabled"  disables the trash (down) key. This means that no images can be deleted, regardless of whether they are recorded before or after this setting is changed. If you need to delete a file, re-enable file deletion by selecting "Off" for the "Trash Disabled" setting and then delete.

IMPORTANT!
Formatting memory deletes all files, regardless of the current protection and "Trash Disabled" settings.
