With HD and STD movie recording, Prerecord Movie pre-records 4 seconds of the action that occurs before you press the Movie button to start recording.
* With Prerecord Movie, a focus operation is not performed when you press the movie button to start real-time recording. However, you can perform a focus operation by half-pressing the shutter button. Next, wait for at least four seconds (so images can be prerecorded) before pressing the movie button.
* Activating Prerecord Movie starts continual prerecording of images, which consumes battery power. Take care you do not leave it on and run down the battery.
