- Premium Auto performs pixel-level analysis of each image, performs different compensation processes for subjects and backgrounds, and performs other high level photographic techniques each time you press the shutter button.
It allows the camera to automatically detect and analyze conditions for night scenes, back lighting, sky, greenery, twilight, the presence of human faces, subject movement, subject positions, whether or not the camera is on a tripod and more, and then simultaneously apply optimal settings for exposure, ISO sensitivity, focus positions, anti-shake, gradation, color balance, noise reduction level, and more.
Premium Auto applies functions and settings automatically in accordance with the needs of each set of shooting conditions.
The following are just some of the functions that are applied by Premium Auto.
• Continuous AF Auto Focus is normally performed until you half-press the shutter button. • Intelligent AF The camera automatically determines the focus point on the screen and focuses there. • Face Detection When shooting people, the face detection feature detects the faces of up to ten individuals and adjusts focus and brightness accordingly. • Make-up/Landscape The camera will automatically touch up people and scenery to help ensure beautiful image every time.
