REC Mode/Recording Techniques

Q12
How does Auto ISO sensitivity control suppress digital noise, and image blur due to  subject movement?
A12
Whenever the camera determines that the subject is moving, it increases ISO sensitivity and shutter speed automatically in order to reduce the chance of image blur. If the camera determines that the subject is not moving, it reduces ISO sensitivity in order to reduce the chance of digital noise in the image.
To enable Auto ISO sensitivity control, select Premium Auto as the recording mode. To enable Auto ISO sensitivity control while normal Auto is selected as the recording mode, select "Auto" for the ISO sensitivity setting, "Auto" for the Anti Shake setting, and "Flash Off" for the flash setting.
