- What can I do with the Quick Mode?

- The Quick Mode starts up the camera whenever the shutter button is pressed, which means the camera is instantly ready to shoot whenever one of those special moments presents itself. The camera also turns off automatically a number of seconds after the image is recorded.

NOTE
• If you turn on the camera using any other procedure than pressing the shutter button, it will not turn off a number of seconds after you shoot an image. In this case, press the power button to turn off the camera. • The text "Quick Mode" appears in the center of the screen when you turn on the camera by pressing the shutter button. A "Q" icon is displayed in the upper right corner of the monitor screen while you are shooting with the Quick Mode. • The movie button and [AUTO] button are disabled in the Quick Mode. • hanging from the REC mode to the PLAY mode automatically exits the Quick Mode. Even if you return to the REC mode in this case, the camera will not be in the Quick Mode and so it will not turn off automatically.
In this case, press the power button to turn off the camera.
