REC Mode/Recording Techniques

Q28
Why doesn't the shutter release when I use Auto Shutter?
A28
If you experience problems with the shutter releasing, try changing the "Trigger Sensitivity" setting.

To change trigger sensitivity
1. Press [MENU].
2. On the REC tab, select "Auto Shutter" and then press [SET].
3. Use the <left> and <right> keys to change the "Trigger Sensitivity" setting.
4. Press [SET].

You can select one of three sensitivity levels. When all of the squares on the display are red, the trigger is configured for maximum sensitivity, which means the shutter tends to release more easily.

*  If the camera remains in Auto Shutter standby without releasing the shutter, you can force a shutter
release by pressing the shutter button all the way down again.
