REC Mode/Recording Techniques

Q9 Why doesn't "Old Photo(Revive Shot)" restore the colors of my old photographs correctly?
A9 When you record the image of an old, faded photograph with "Old Photo(Revive Shot)", it brightens the colors and corrects for damage to the original image. Under certain conditions, however, it may not be able to produce the desired results.
Note the following precautions.

- Correct color restoration may not be possible if the original photograph is extremely faded.

- Make sure that light is not reflecting off the surface of the original photograph when recording it.

- Creases and missing portions of creased and torn photographs are not removed.

- Black and white or negative images cannot be converted to color images using this function.
