REC Mode/Recording Techniques

Q17 What does the Coupling Shot Mode do?
A17 With the Coupling Shot Mode, you can record the left side and the right side of an image separately. The camera then combines the two parts automatically into a single image. The first press of the shutter release button in the Coupling Shot Mode records the left half of the image. A semi-transparent view of the left-half image remains on the camera's monitor screen. Use this to compose the right half of the image, and then press the shutter release button a second time to record the right half. All of this means that the Coupling Shot Mode makes it possible to included everyone present in an image, even if there is no one around who you can ask to press the shutter release button for you.
