Q11 What is the difference between the two shutter types?
A11 The camera has two shutter modes: an electronic shutter mode and a mechanical shutter mode.
When shooting with the electronic shutter, CMOS characteristics of the camera's imaging element can cause distortion of a moving object, which makes their lines appear bent in the final image.
The mechanical shutter does not provide the high-speed Continuous Shutter and high-speed shutter capabilities of the electronic shutter, but it minimizes the distortion of moving subjects.
Use the shutter mode that suits the type of image you are trying to record.
